Summer Prep for the Hunting Season

Summer’s a bit slow for hunting, but it’s the perfect time to get things in order before the rush. I’ve been going through my gear and checking trail cams, but honestly, I feel like I’m missing some stuff; what do you all do for prep? Do you scout new spots, shoot more often, or just kick back until the season kicks in?

Sharpen your skinning knives now, dull blades make field dressing a pain. I also test my GPS unit batteries and map new access points to avoid trespassing issues.
