Smoking while hunting ruins everything

I once hunted with a guy who smoked cigarettes in the stand. We didn't see anything all day! What's the point of scent control when you smell like an ashtray? Am I right to be ticked off?

You are right to be ticked off, cigarette smoke wipes out all stealth and no amount of wind or camo can save that hunt

I'd be ticked too. The smell of one cigarette goes far when it's cold. It's tough to think about scent spray when someone's lighting up right next to you.
