They’re cool, lighter, and look slick but they’re not magic. Some shoot great, some don’t. You’re paying for weight savings, not guaranteed accuracy, steel barrels still hold their own just fine.
I tried those carbon fiber barrels and went back to steel. Saving weight was nice but the results were all over the place. I'd rather have something that's consistent than something that looks cool.
