Planning a trip to visit family soon and trying to figure out the best route. I'd like to bring a firearm with me, but going through New York State makes that tricky. I hear the laws there can be pretty restrictive, and I don't want to run into any issues. I've thought about avoiding NY altogether, but that adds a ridiculous amount of drive time. I'm curious if anyone else has dealt with this and what you decided to do. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.
