Blood trail was good for 200 yards then just disappeared. I searched for hours and never found it, it killed me thinking that deer is out there. Has anyone lost an animal they know they hit solid?
I lost one years ago and still think about it. I hit it clean, saw blood and then nothing. It bothered me for a long time. I now take my time, pay closer attention and never rush the follow-up.
