Got 10,000 pictures of nothing

I set up camera on a trail and every picture was empty or just wind blowing grass. I have wasted SD card space and batteries. Ever have cameras in terrible spots?

Sometimes trails look promising but the camera just catches grass waving in the wind.

I've taken a lot of photos ruined by the wind. Changing the camera's sensitivity and clearing brush in front of the lens helped a lot. Where you put the camera matters more than you thinkl..
