Expensive gift you feel guilty about

Anyone else get an expensive piece of gear as a gift and feel weird using it hard? I got a nice knife last Christmas and I'm almost too nervous to actually use it in the field. It feels like I should save it or something

Use your tools! They earn their stories by being used. If you want to pass them down, make sure they have your mark, that makes them worth keeping.
