Reloading on a budget

I want to start reloading to save money long-term but the startup costs seem crazy. Is there a way to do this without dropping a grand right away and what equipment do I actually need versus what's just nice to have?

You can definitely start without going broke. Grab a single-stage press, a decent scale, calipers, and a manual, that’ll cover the essentials...you can upgrade later as you go. I started cheap and still made great ammo
