I am loking to hunt some public land this season and trying to narrow down which WMAs are worth my time. I know everywhere gets pressure, but some spots have to be better than others, right?
Yeah, pressure’s a given but a few WMAs still hold good deer if you’re willing to hike deeper in. I’ve had luck slipping in before daylight and letting the crowd push deer my way
Yep, the pressure's on. Hit up Dead Creek or Victory Basin early in the week (less crowded, more deer) Bring some patience and you know, warm socks... Vermont mornings get chilly
