I’ve seen a wide range of zeroing methods across the community, and it’s always interesting how each shooter develops their own routine. To help newer members learn and compare techniques, I’d like to hear how each of you approaches zeroing?

Zero the rifle once… hit the target. Zero it twice… hit the coffee cup. Being consistent is what it's all about!

Political candidate yard signs make excellent targets. I set one in front of my dirt pile at my home range with a 1'' orange sticker in the middle. I clamp my rifle to a bench at 50 yds. Fire one shot at the orange sticker. While looking through the scope aimed at the orange sticker, I adjust until the cross hairs are zero over where the first shot hit the target. Second shot is zero on the orange sticker. After that its all about practice.
